About Shannon M. Treynor
Before graduating from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, Shannon M. Treynor acquired two undergraduate degrees from Miami University: a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.
When not attending to her law practice in London, Ohio, Shannon continues with her music career by her regular performances with the St. Joseph Cathedral Choir for both its services throughout the liturgical year and its concert series.
Maintaining a high quality, yet small-town practice also requires Ms. Treynor to be well-versed in nearly all aspects of a general law practice, including family law, juvenile law, criminal defense, landlord/tenant, tax foreclosures, adoptions, and of course, consumer bankruptcy.
Ms. Treynor has been representing individual consumer debtors for both chapters 7 and 13 since opening her offices in 2002.
She has served as past-president of the Madison County Bar Association, served on the Board of the Credit Education Coalition, and holds memberships with the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
She is married to Robert A. Treynor III, reporter with the Madison Press, and has three school-aged children.
